About us
Nettenlijn is a true family business: small enough to know every customer by name, big enough to take care of everything around nets and aviaries. Our team consists of professionals who grew up with rope, buttons and needles, with love for the craft, not out of habit.
That passion is reflected in the details: in the careful finishing, in thinking along about smart constructions and in the way we only stop when everything fits perfectly. Whether it is an inconspicuous cat net, a sturdy sports net, a playful climbing net or a complex zoo aviary, we treat every assignment as if it were for our own backyard.

The roots of Nettenlijn go back to 1981, when we were still employed and were busy making nets for zoos, petting zoos and enthusiastic bird breeders. The profession never left us. That is why we decided to take the plunge and start our own company in 1993.
We literally made the first nets at the dining table in the living room. Soon customers were asking not only for delivery, but also for assembly. That turned out to be a bull's eye: what started with a few suspension brackets grew into building complete aviaries and later also sports and safety nets.
When the nets threatened to take over the living room, we moved to our first business premises in 1995. Since then, Nettenlijn has grown step by step, but one thing has remained unchanged: our pleasure in craftsmanship and the personal attention for every assignment - from zoo to sports hall and everything in between.
